The Lady In White Investigation At East Durand Park

The lady in white is supposed to be a true story and basically as Pete said more like an urban legend. But checking this place out still makes it all the more worthwhile knowing if its true about a ghost that swoops down and does not like men chasing them away including police officers in the past. Basically we all drove down to East Durand park which is on Ontario Beach a pretty good hot spot for lovers to make out, drink, and party and this proved it when we got there by the cars parked by the guard rails on the curvy road. We noticed on the hill across the street a structure so we hiked to it and a very high stair well led to a cobble structured foundation or should we say only the front of the foundation is left. As we got to the top of it the overlook was amazing. The structure apparently is where the lady in white died in a fire but the story does change. Anyhow we checked the castle like frontal structure out took a few photos and moved on behind it. All of us hiked a few trails behind the foundation since she is also seen in other parts of this very large park.  As we hiked threw we climbed over some fallen trees not a whole lot of activity we smelled another skunk, thought I sensed some movement on the ground because I seen a twig bend but the area is flourishing with nature but I could see why she would be in these woods haunting them they are very dense, odd looking trees, and a lot of folks go there to disrespect the land. We hiked back to the foundation seen a fresh fire that was not put out all the way sheesh just missed out on scaring some folks took a few photos climbed on down and walked in the front of it and it was so amazing to see how high the one front wall reached. We then made our way back to the car. Again this is an area that would have to be checked out many times to verify if the stories are true but i did look on the digital and had a few orbs one seems on the move so its quite possible there is many spirits that roam these woods. All in all it was a lot of fun finally making this dream come true to visit here. Then we headed home which may I add NY state toll booths suck but the good thing is the lady in white did not get her revenge and another investigation has been completed by our fantastic organization.

After the tunnels, we went in search of the "white lady".  It was 
easy enough to find the foundation rumored to be the remains of her 
home.  We couldn't find any evidence of the barn that was supposed to 
have burned there.  We walked through the park for awhile, finding 
and sensing nothing.
