This perhaps is a two part investigation which we completed last night. I was pretty excited about investigating last night cause this place is very old, historic and it has quite alot of energy. Anybody even non paranormal investigators can walk around here and just feel that something here is not right at night.

Anyways we started off our investigation at the Deland Amtrak Station. We were there Friday night but the camera was not working so we just sat on a bench watched a freight train go by and I worked a little with area to get a psychic feel for it.

But returning last night was nice and I do honestly think it benefited for the investigation as we headed off about 1am out to this very lonesome train station in the woods where tragedies and history have occurred.

Deland Amtrak Train Station

We pulled on to the station and gathered up our equipment. Jason ran off and was already catching tree frogs and giant toads. The night before he caught a bunch and was sitting them all next to each other on the stations benches haha.

The station was quiet and gloomy I mean it sits out near many different train tracks, woods for miles, and is fairly secluded so the eerie feeling sets in real quick at night here.

I had Jason take my photo at the entrance and then I turned around seen a train was roaring up the tracks fast. So I hurried placed a nickel and penny on the tracks on top of one another. The train came flying past us I was fairly close to the tracks by one of the benches and it was just so loud I ran like crazy Jason was laughing his ass off. After it passed I found my nickel and penny embedded on into it or what was left of it lol.

So now that we got the fun time out of our systems it was time to do some ghost busting. Jason was walking around the station and I focused on the gazebo area. The gazebo area was very cold and I felt a weaker presence here or inside of it. Perhaps cause it was a more darker area that sat away from the station.

A few times I sat on benches admiring this historical station. Oh how I remember in NY when I use to walk around inside such old train station like the one in Jamestown or Buffalo. So this really brought back some memories. I peered in the windows of the station I felt another presence inside it could be residual though. We did not get any EMF readings at this point.

Jason and I then began to walk North up the tracks along an unused pair and the one where quite a few trains travel on a day. All we could see in the distance was the red blinkers off in the distance for passing trains. Walking up the tracks was fairly cozy I did not feel uncomfortable here.

Eventually we came to a split in the tracks so we took it and it went off into the woods curving in all different directions. When we finally came around the bend there was another split one dead ending in the woods the other going up into a lumber yard. You could tell these tracks were not used to often. I did not like it back in this area I kept looking back it was more like the elusive something following you feeling besides the fact some dogs off in the distance were going bonkers that added to the intensity.

We came back out and started heading back to the station. On our way back activity really started to pick up as I seen alot of ectoplasm moving on the tracks. It was nowhere else but the tracks in one instance I seen an entity jump in front of me as the flash went off. So whatever is here wanted us to acknowledge it.

When we made our way back to the train station and headed on southward down the tracks.  We found after we crossed the road another split in the tracks. We did not take it but we did keep straight. The woods on both sides were very thick and on one side was alot of swamps. We did not see any gators but we came up to this one area with beer cans floating everywhere.

I did not like this area at all it was not the beer cans that bothered me I just felt that this was a not so nice part of the tracks. Its strange how on one end of the tracks the ghost made us feel welcomed and were friendly yet on this end it felt like we were not welcomed here. I did hear some odd noises in the woods on the western side and on the swampy side the frogs were giving off a warning call which means something not so nice is out their.

I heard another noise over the frogs and I do not even know what it is it was not a gator or frog. It was just odd and I am not even sure if I can describe it but it was pretty loud and close. Eventually we turned back and headed back to the station. As we pulled away from the split in the tracks and swampy area things began to settle down. I do feel we were being watched here. Even Jason shining the spotlight down the tracks it was apparent that their was miles of woods and secluded territory.

We did get back to the station and I took some more photos before wrapping up the investigation. I do hope that we will return here for a follow up investigation and more explorations deeper down the tracks. I look at it like this some of the first trains and train tracks in the state of Florida were laid out here. The area is old, secluded, has a history of tragedy therefore anything could be out their. So it turned out to be a really great investigation besides the fact that I came out of there last night with some very nice Ectoplasmic photos.

After the train station I did have a cemetery planned. We drove all the way out to the middle of nowhere in a very rural area. We were looking for this little dirt road in the middle of nowhere when this car came up behind us shutting off its lights chasing us. You talk about jerks in Florida I was about to run this person off the road and trust me I could have my car is a tank lol. But the person appeared to be toying with us and this is why I say to others the work we do is dangerous alot of strange people on these back roads.

Eventually the person went around us as I let them and pulled off on the side of the road. We took the cemetery road in search of Cassia Graveyard. It was a little one way dirt road with alot of ranches and woods. We seen a horse by one of the fences as their were a few driveways leading to various residents.

Eventually we came up to a dead end in the road their was a split one way was a house the other way was a stop sign with this rusty trailer. We could not figure out if to the right was the cemetery but we were not going to take a chance since this was someone's property and we did not want gramps to come out with his shotgun so we headed back. I never really off roaded with my car before and it did quite well as we took a few other dirt roads almost got stuck on one but I got us out of that.

The downside was that we could not find the cemetery. Based on the map I had it actually shows the cemetery where the house was so we had to assume that the house was built on the cemeteries property or it was behind the house which would make it inaccessible completely. So we could not bring you the cemetery investigation last night but nonetheless it was a nice little adventure as we drove around some eerie back roads where anything at anytime is possible in such an area like this.

So with that in mind we had a nice train station investigation and Cassia Cemetery was never found perhaps it never will be. So many cemeteries in the state of Florida remain forgotten or they are built upon. We had a nice little excursion last night wish others would get more involved and so another great investigation brought to you by the PGS team.
