Tonight was one of those nights great for an investigation as the moon was almost full as well as no a single cloud or ounce of moisture available. I started off riding my bike through the historical section of DeLand its so pretty at night riding past giant mansions and you know those probably have ghost tales of there own. But with my luck something crazy always has to happen before I get down to some serious ghostbusting:) I road my bike right through a massive spider web I had web in my mouth, hanging off my arms, legs, chin, ears I was hoping there was no spider hanging on for a ride. I cut across a church and there was a hidden log I hit almost flew off the bike but managed to gain my balance. Finally I arrived about a mile away from my destination came across a very very busy wooded road. The sidewalk ran out and so it was either ride on the highway or walk the bike on the grass I took my chances in the ditch. I finally after a few miles of riding came across a wooded area with a twist, rusted, bent fence off in the distance. That was it I knew I had arrived and so my investigations begins here.

Bethel Cemetery

I entered the gate it had a brand new chain on it kind of pointless since most of the fencing was bent down surrounding this place of burial. By looking at it I would say there were about 100 stones spread out in a pretty wide wooded area. Right away the eerie feeling set in the moon was shining between a few trees, some trees were bare, twist, or fallen from recent thunderstorms, and there were feelings of being watched from the cemeteries darkest area which ran along some underbrush. I came across some upper burial stones they were surrounded by a chain.  

I looked to my left and seen a beam of light looked very much like a rod. I question the possibility that it was a firefly since there were other fireflies around however this was a long beam of light that kept shooting upward and I followed it till it disappeared. It did not look like a firefly just a long beam or rod of energy.

Then came across another family plot which was surrounded by some small fencing. Eventually walking to a broken stone and bench which looked like it suffered from some form of vandalism. I then heard dogs close by something as a paranormal investigator I have had run ins with many occasions so do you have to be careful YES very much so. I worked my way to the front of the cemetery came across a confederate soldiers stone the flag gave it away. 

I then opened the front gates to the cemetery they were quite stiff and I could tell nobody had opened them in months. I then walked back into the cemetery exploring some stones near the road found a small cross, a few limestone markers, flat stones and probably some unmarked burials.  I came across a second confederate stone with another flag this one was larger and you could still read the engravings on it.

As I headed towards the east end of the cemetery I came across a recently fresh burial of a biker. An angel, motorcycle model, and new flowers were surround the stone. I spent alot of time here and the temperature dropped alot. I believe I also took a high EMF reading in this area. It was quite interesting but none the less I had no doubt that this fresh burial did not have an entity near it.

I walked around the cemetery several times a few times just relaxing sitting down taking my time with photography. I did at one point here some whistling in the cemetery it went on for about 10 seconds. Other then that it was fairly calm. I was fortunate that the cops did not hassle me tonight since they did drive by with there lights on but did not stop at all. The area is mainly ranches and a country setting but yet the intersection near the cemetery constantly changed the lighting here from green to red every few minutes. So my eyes had alot of problems adjusting as there are areas where you cannot see then you take 5 steps and the cemetery was lit up like day. 

I walked back to my bike almost stuck my face in a giant web with 3 banana spiders on it one of them was giant I did take photos to prove this.  The cemetery had many webs as at this point I was covered in them as I walked between various trees and brush. 

On my way out of the cemetery I closed the gates, road my bike through the cemetery and had gotten a few medium EMF readings. The activity did not pick up till I started to leave. I road my bike around the outside of the cemetery took a few more photos and it again become cold in a different area actually the side gates. It seemed that perhaps the entities enjoyed my computer because as I was leaving I seemed to have stirred something up near by.  I will return again to do a follow up as it is a very comfortable cemetery.

In conclusion I took a different way home riding through a rural area of town with no street lights or anything it was interesting. You do not realize how much there is to see till you actually ride a bike through the country or town. It turned out to be an interesting night and a cemetery I feel others should have investigated because this cemetery was similar to something you would see out of a horror movie besides the fact a few confederates are buried here and veterans. It seems like many of the stones tell you a tale as many stones are illegible and do not. Have a goodnight!!
