Arlington Park is a tiny little patch of land with a brick walkway, a few trees one with a giant hole in it, and many old lamps that light it from the 1940s. Since the area starting being built up around 100 years ago the park is roughly around this age to. As it is surrounded by many mansions probably some of them have 8-16 rooms easily. The park is very well lit so we were not sure how well we would be able to capture the apparition that has been seen here by Michelle who showed us where this place was. It took us alone a second visit that evening to capture something and I found it a fairly challenging place or rather I had to have a lot more patience here.

Michelle who showed us this park said that she seen a ghostly lady in it this intrigued me to try and capture her on film as I wanted to be able to get a photo of this entity for her perhaps it will help to bring her some closure as to this haunted park. We did succeed and moving cold spots here are not uncommon.

I was told that years ago when they were building the park and houses that bodies were found perhaps the area is Native American Burial ground or a unmarked cemetery possibly. Did they get all the bones and bodies? Probably not which would make the spirits very restless or active. As over the years people who would dig up a garden would dig up some bones or there dog would find one. There is an area near the park where the street keeps caving in nobody knows why so the city eventually filled it with concrete to prevent this. The area reminds of of a scene from the movie Poltergeist where houses are built on top of sacred grounds.

The area is very old and many prominent people live here that is obvious. As one of the mansions Mark Twain use to visit frequently and while other mansions you walk past give you the chilly willies as some of them are 3 to 4 floor homes. Some of the houses look like fortresses and castles while others look like the Amityville house.

We have to ask the question though why is the park haunted? Is it because of the unmarked graves? Was somebody killed in the park years ago? Or is there memories of the past left here perhaps as 2 lovers sat on the grass looking at the sky or a woman strolls through it with her baby carriage? Despite the size of this park the question is yes the departed roam it.
